Antique Italian Bed Shhh Putti

This Antique Italian Renaissance Revival Bed is a stunning example with the most perfect little Putti Cherub sitting on the end of the bed, with intricate carvings in a warm walnut finish. Crafted in Italy in Circa 1850, this bed has a rectangular shape and measures 200cm in length, 160cm in width, suitable for an EU King size mattress. 
The Headboard stands at a grand 172cm, with the footboard measuring 90 cm.
The Footboard crest has a a putti Cherub putting his finger to his mouth shhhhh carved from solid walnut, with a another cherub face to end panel.
The Headboard has further carvings, with a female profile to the crest. 
This original Italian bed is an a Fabulous Hand Carved Antique, a very Unique and rare find that will add character to any bedroom. 
It requires assembly and will require a sommier/ slat bed base. these can be purchased online or a divan base can be use inside the frame.
This is a unique piece of furniture and a must-have for lovers of Renaissance style.
