This exquisite statue of Our Lady of Purgatory is a masterpiece of religious art. Created in France during the historicism period of 1850-1900, this large sculpture stands 160cm tall and is made of plaster and horse hair material which has been polychromed. The piece has a realistic style and exceptional craftsmanship.
 
The statue is a one-of-a-kind piece, signed by the artist and is an original limited edition. Absolutely Fabulous piece of history. In original condition, there are some holes and chips of the plaster and there have been rather simple repairs over the years.
