The Design & Features
Integrated Technology: The sprawling headboard features built-in radio/audio controls and integrated ambient lighting on both sides, allowing you to control your environment without leaving the covers.
Masterful Craftsmanship: Upholstered in a deep, luxurious dark chocolate velvet (or suede-effect fabric) with striking gold and chrome racing-stripe accents that wrap around the entire base and headboard.
Architectural Presence: The low-profile platform creates a floating effect, while the wide headboard incorporates built-in bedside surfaces/drawers for a seamless, wall-to-wall look.
Period Authenticity: A perfect example of 1970s "Disco Modernism" and futuristic luxury.
Condition Report
Upholstery: In very good vintage condition. The fabric retains a deep luster with minimal signs of wear.
The box spring base is not for sale - these can be purchased new online.
Electronics: The integrated lights and radio dials are intact. (Note: Due to the age of the components, we recommend an inspection by an electrician to ensure modern safety standards).
Frame: Structurally solid and heavy. The metallic trim is bright with minor age-appropriate patina.
Inside the bedframe are some slights chips that can not be seen. There is a repair to one of the pull down drawer doors (see images)
